My First Crochet Pattern – Chevron Blanket (Full-Sized)!

Materials:
Q-Hook
8 Skeins of Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (Your Choice of Color – I used White, Real Teal, Aruba Sea, and Cafe Latte)
Tapestry Needle to weave in ends
A comfy chair, Netflix, and your favorite tea (not required)

Stitch Abbreviations:
CH – Chain
DC – Double Crochet
dc3tog – Double Crochet Three Stitches together

Pattern Notes:
-This pattern is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together (for a thicker result I recommend using 3 or 4)
-U.S. Crochet Terms
-To create a bigger or smaller result, chain in multiples of 14 plus 4 at the end.
-At the end of every row, ch 3 then turn work.

PATTERN:
Using two strands of yarn held together, chain 88 loosely.

Row 1: Starting in the 4th chain from the hook, 6dc, dc3tog, 5dc, *3dc in next st, 5 dc, dc3tog, 5dc**, repeat from * to ** until the end, 2dc in last ch, ch 3, turn.

Row 2: dc in same stitch as chain, 5dc, dc3tog, 5dc, *3dc in next st, 5 dc, dc3tog, 5dc**, repeat from * to ** until the end, 2dc in the third ch of turning chain, ch 3, turn.

Repeat 2nd row to finish pattern and meet desired length. 

I made 51 rows with my blanket.
